​This debut novel is absolutely a must-read. I am stunned that this author is only 15 years old. The mind she has, and the ability to write a world like this is phenomenal. I was hooked from the first paragraph and had to fight to put the book down more than once today to attend to appointments I had. In the end though, I just had to finish it all in one day. Paityn has a unique writing style and story telling ability that perfectly hits the nail on the head. Equally enthralling, heartbreaking, and thrilling, this novel had me feeling multiple emotions at once, captivating me and pulling me into the world along with the MC’s. Speaking of MC’s, Paityn has done an excellent job at character building, not only in ability to describe looks but also emotions inside of each character and between them. I don’t feel I came across one flat character.
